Frequently Asked Questions about Coral Calcium Supreme

We regularly answer the following questions about coral calcium supreme. These are the most asked questions by our customers.

Q. Does Robert Barefoot endorse your products?

A. Bob Barefoot endorses all of our Coral Calcium Supreme products. Actually, we ONLY offer Bob Barefoot products. Many other manufacturers like to claim that Robert Barefoot “endorses” or “features” their coral calcium product - even though the bottle doesn't say or feature Mr. Barefoot. If it doesn't say "Robert Barefoot" on the bottle, have his picture on the bottle, and contain a bar code beginning in 58442, it's not a real Barefoot product.

Q. What is the difference between “marine grade” and “above sea” coral calcium?

A. There is not a huge difference between the two, but the marine grade coral calcium is generally considered to be a higher quality product due to its 2:1 calcium to magnesium content. It is also more expensive to mine and process. “Above Sea” coral calcium sometimes will have magnesium added by the manufacturer. Other than calcium and magnesium, the mineral content of both types of coral calcium are very similar

Q. Do you sell “marine grade” or “above sea” coral calcium?

A. We sell only Marine Grade Coral Calcium. We simply feel this is the best Calcium Supplement available.

Q. Does Coral Calcium raise body fluid pH?

A. Yes, there is a direct correlation between calcium ion levels and pH. One can easily test body fluid pH (and ones health) by putting saliva on litmus paper. Most children will register at a healthy 7.5. Over half of adults will register an low pH of 6.5 or lower, which sometimes is reflective of calcium deficiency.

Q. Is Coral Calcium absorbed into the body efficiently?

A. Absorption into the blood stream is the key to consider when comparing Calcium products. It is not how many milligrams you swallow that counts, but how much actually reaches your cells via the blood stream. If, for example you take one of the many calcium supplements containing 1000 mg of calcium. You are likely to absorb maybe 10%, netting you about 100 mg of calcium in your bloodstream. If you are elderly, you will only absorb about 2 or 3% giving you 20 or 30 mgs.

When you take coral calcium, you are going to absorb almost 100%. The bottom line is that you are getting many times more calcium into your system irrespective of your digestive capabilities taking coral. Also, the added bonus of Coral Calcium is that it comes packed with all of the other minerals needed by the body.

Q. How much coral calcium should I take?

A. We recommend taking the dosage on the label or 1000-1500 mg per day.
